On my way to YVR

After 15 months away, I am finally back in YVR for a few weeks to visit family and friends, and to deal with my storage locker housing the contents of my old life.

As most of my readers are in Vancouver and likely people I will (or have) seen, I don't see much point in reiterating everything I have been doing on my trip.

However, on the flight I decided to take my camera with me as I knew I would be flying through daytime hours for the full duration of the flight.

- First picture: the view from my Amsterdam apartment as the sun rose on the morning I left.

- Second picture: scattered clouds over the Atlantic.

- Third picture: Eastern coast of Greenland with icebergs dotting the waters off the coast.

- Fourth picture: Greenland's mountains (and probably volcanoes).

- Fifth picture: Northern Canada.

- Sixth picture: My Air Transat plane sitting on the tarmac at YVR.
